Battlefield 3 PS3 Footage

EA showed off footage from the PS3 version of the upcoming Battlefield 3 (PC version pictured above) last night on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Below is footage of both the PS3 version debuted last night and previously released PC footage of the same level. Given the age of current console hardware the Frostbite 2 engine is putting out some impressive graphics, although there is a bit of degradation on texture resolution, as highlighted in this NeoGAF thread. Considering the scale of Battlefield (from ground troops to jet fighters and drone operators) and all of the different actions taking place most gamers will forgive a sacrifice in visual fidelity in exchange for the unfettered Battlefield experience.
